Human Resources Assistant
Description:
The HR Admin will be assisting with day to day tasks related to human resource management.
Job Duties:
- Time, attendance, and PTO tracking
- Recording and maintaining personal, employment, and benefits information for new hires and current employees such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, terminations, etc. and forwarding appropriate items to payroll for reconciling
- Prepare marketing materials for recruiting and general employee correspondence
- Conduct new hire onboarding process including coordination with staffing agencies, employment clearances and in-house orientation
- Benefit enrollment and administration
- Workers Compensation claim filing and administration
- Administer unemployment compensation claims
- Assist with job description(s) creation and updates
- Assist with Company policy and employee handbook formation/updates
- Assist with company functions for the welfare and recreation of employees
- Opportunity to regularly attend Lancaster Society for Human Resource Management (LSHRM) seminars and events
- General administrative support and assistance relating to employee transactions and inquiries
Monday - Friday
6:30am - 3:00pm
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of administrative experience within industrial environment or the housing industry
- Human Resources knowledge
- Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus
- Microsoft Office applications knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) & HRIS systems experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
