Disclaimer: This position is expected to start around August/September and continue through December/January. Internships are in-person for 40 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks. Please consider before submitting an application.

Our year-round program places the best students in positions that they will grow both technically and personally through their experience working closely with their Manager, Mentor, and team. We are dedicated to providing an experience that allows for the intern to experience life at Tesla by given them projects that are critical to their team's success.

About the Team
Tesla is seeking passionate mobile engineering students who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to apply CS concepts to real world projects. Our Mobile Engineering team is responsible for Tesla's app which includes exciting features such as: smart summon, vehicle controls, keyless entry, and sentry mode.
* Design, code, and maintain mobile user experiences.
* Optimize code for performance, stability and maintainability.
* Work with a cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers.
* Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or a related field.
* iOS or Android experience preferred.
* Experience with Swift, React/React Native and Kotlin is a huge plus.
* Excellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts, good at solving complex technical problems.
* Experience using common design patterns. High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.
