Job Description

Lot Associates play a crucial role in helping customers load their vehicles and keeping the store entrance tidy and well-presented. Since they interact with customers and Home Depot associates, good communication skills are important.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring a clean, tidy, and debris-free outdoor environment. This involves sweeping the premises, removing trash, and presenting seasonal merchandise in a neat and organized manner.
• Retrieving carts from the parking area and transporting them to specified positions within or outside the store, as part of an assistance's job.
• In order to ensure the safety and efficiency of the loading and unloading of merchandise, traffic flow management within the loading zone is imperative. This involves coordination, traffic direction and adherence to safety regulations.
• Continuous monitoring of the parking lot is necessary to spot any safety hazards or security risks that might cause harm to customers or staff members. Appropriate actions such as reporting any suspicious activities or assisting individuals in distress can help avert any untoward incidents.
