Warehouse Production Assistant

Job Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collect incoming deliveries and ensure that the contents match the order specifications.
• Use proper equipment to handle merchandise safely and efficiently.
• Carry out the assigned task of choosing, packing, and preparing orders for shipping as per the laid out procedure.
• Take responsibility for cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Observe the standard safety measures and procedures to prevent any accidents or injuries from occurring.
• An efficiently functioning warehouse demands cleanliness and organization.
• Cultivate a culture of teamwork and collaboration that emphasizes mutual respect and shared responsibility for tasks in the warehouse team.

Qualifications:

• The minimum educational prerequisite for this position is the successful completion of high school or its equivalent program.
• While having worked in a warehouse or distribution setting before would be beneficial, it is not mandatory.
• Adeptness in overseeing stock with a meticulous eye for detail.
• Proficiency in carrying weighty items and executing physically demanding duties.
• Possessing a sound understanding of inventory management systems can be made easier with basic computer skills.
• A current forklift certification or a willingness to obtain certification (as required).
• Firmly adhering to the fundamental principles of punctuality, dependability, and hard work in all aspects of one's professional life.
• Outstanding communication skills and excellent teamwork acumen.
• Pliability in the face of a high-intensity and physically taxing milieu is a prized attribute.
