Role Description: 


The Mid-Market Director of Strategy and Operations for Revenue is critical in spurring revenue growth and optimizing operational efficiency within the organization's mid-market segment. This position requires a strategic thinker with solid analytical skills and a deep understanding of sales processes and operations. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement strategies that maximize revenue generation while ensuring a seamless customer experience. 


What you’ll do: 



  • Focus on GTM strategies for mid-market e-commerce brands.  

  • Oversee sales operations within the mid-market segment, including sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management. 

  • Implement best practices for sales processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.  

  • Partner with Operations to implement new communication strategies to support successful customer onboarding and retention.  

  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reports and insights to executive leadership. 

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment of revenue strategies with overall business objectives. 

  • Foster collaboration between revenue and other departments to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction. 

  • Identify areas for improvement in sales performance and operational efficiency. 

  • Inspire a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork. 

  • Other duties/responsibilities as necessary. 


What you’ll bring to the table: 



  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred). 

  • Demonstrated experience in sales operations, revenue management, or related roles, preferably within the logistics or SaaS industry. 

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. 

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience leading and developing high-performing teams. 

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful revenue growth strategies. 

  • Proficiency in sales automation tools, CRM systems, and other sales enablement technologies. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. 


Classification: Exempt 


Reports to: VP, Revenue Operations & Enablement

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. We are targeting a salary range of $170,000 - $190,000 for this role. The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $141,375 - $235,625.
