Registered Nurse Ambulatory
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Registered Nurse Ambulatory. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. As a Registered Nurse Ambulatory, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, managing both routine and complex medical conditions. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting, ensuring the highest standard of care and patient safety.
- Assess patients' medical conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Prepare and assist with medical procedures, such as wound care, wound dressing changes, and suture removal.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols.
- Uphold privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory care setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
