Job Description

Essential Functions:

Utilizes the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to perform the following functions:

  • The diagnosis or issues are arrived at by carefully considering the assessment data.
  • Personalized healthcare plans offer many benefits to patients and healthcare providers alike. Patients receive care that is tailored to their individual needs, which can lead to better outcomes. Healthcare providers benefit from increased patient satisfaction, improved efficiency, and reduced costs.
  • Develops a course of action that recommends methods and divers alternatives to get to the intended outcomes.
  • Executes the predetermined plan. Monitors patient advancement as per the plan.
  • The Coordination of Care system promotes a patient-centered healthcare approach.
  • The goal of health teaching and health promotion is to raise awareness about health issues and create a secure environment that promotes well-being.
  • The process of consultation calls for the advanced practice registered nurse and nursing role specialist to utilize their expertise to influence the plan, enhance the abilities of others, and effect transformation.
  • Evaluating the advancement made towards reaching objectives is crucial.

Additional Requirements

Required:

Education - Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing.

Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA); Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing.

Preferred:

Experience - 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience.

Education - Bachelors degree in Nursing.

Physical Requirements:

Individuals working in this position are likely to be exposed to dangerous materials like radiation and contaminated needles, and should have appropriate training and protective gear.
