Principal Engineer

NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Provide architectural leadership to a team of engineers delivering business capabilities in the Nike SAP environment including global logistics, finance, planning, and HR. Partner with engineers, business systems analysts, product owners and IT management to implement robust solutions using agile best practices and delivering high quality products on predictable timelines. Contribute to architecture of all associated systems including establishing/modifying strategy, integration methodology, business processes, process re-engineering, standards, and process improvement. Provide architectural guidance to the team including skills development, issue resolution and contribution towards performance management, and be the internal/external architectural group liaison.

Applicant must have a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include:

• Architectural leadership skills
• SAP engineering, such as identification of solution options, solution design, development and unit testing
• SAP custom development across SAP modules, such as SD, FI and MM
• ABAP development using user exit and enhancement points
• ODATA services
• SAP SOA services
• IDOCs
• CDS views
• SAP support pack applications
• SAP transport layer and object-oriented development concepts
• Agile practitioner
• Collaborate with SAP on product/solution consultations and troubleshoot for issue resolutions
