In your role as a Assistant Garage Manager at Ivy Lane Corp, a franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil ChangeSM, you are responsible for overseeing all the activities that take place within the service center, including managing the staff, customer satisfaction, and sales

What You'll Do:

• Leverage technical abilities along with leadership expertise to train and develop staff to provide superior customer care.
• Ensure the effective execution of all facets of the service center, including hiring, training, and managing employees, providing excellent customer service, maintaining stocks and cleanliness, achieving revenue targets, complying with EH&S rules, and fostering company policies and procedures.
• Foster the team's growth and development by offering mentorship, guidance, and training.
• Train and coach individuals on the fundamentals of preventative automotive maintenance, including tasks such as changing oil, checking and replenishing vehicle fluids, replacing filters, and examining and switching out lights and wipers.
• Maintain a service center that is neat and tidy, and at the same time, ensure that employees work in a safe and secure environment.
• Be a champion of superior customer service by providing strong leadership.
• A trustworthy business is one that will likely attract repeat customers and loyal clients.

• Ability to casually elevate objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.
• ability to sustain standing and climbing stairs for extended periods.
• Enjoy complete freedom of movement and can easily twist, stoop, and bend the body to accommodate various activities.
• This job opportunity requires candidates to hold a high school diploma or an equal credential.
• The job opening requires a candidate with a minimum of two years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity in the fast lube and automotive domains.
