As Lead Director of Distribution Center Operations, you will implement LEAN principles, to influence others and have full ownership of operational execution, colleague experience and engagement, strategic planning, talent development, continuous improvement and change management.
This leader is responsible for the overall performance of the Somerset, PA distribution center. In this role, you will lead a team of 400 employees with direct responsibility for 4 exempt level employees. You will own the strategy to create and maintain a first-class employee experience with a focus on talent development to include employee engagement, staffing, retention, learning and training.
You will quickly establish yourself as an engaging and inclusive leader for the team's ability to maximize its productivity, growth, and development. You will create and lead the facility strategy around operational activities to achieve profit and expense goals, providing the highest possible service to the market customer base, ensure compliance with corporate policies/government regulations and provide a work-environment conducive to superior productivity, safety, and quality.

The typical pay range for this role is:
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
-8+ years in a distribution center or manufacturing environment
-6+ years in a leadership role (to include at least 3 years as a site Director of a Distribution Center, Manufacturing Plant or Warehouse) managing direct reports of 5 or more employees.
-5+ years implementing LEAN principles and 5S
-Experience with financial analysis and budget preparations
-Experience collaborating with cross functional teams in a Matrix environment
-Proven ability to drive culture and results
-Experience developing talent at multiple levels
-Regular and reliable attendance
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other distribution center reporting tools (WFM)
-Ability to think and act strategically
-Experience managing federal and state laws to ensure compliance in the operation
-Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
-Excellent time management
-Able to drive significant, strategic projects to completion independently
-Ability to partner with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment
-Master's degree preferred
-Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience (HS Diploma/, GED accompanied by 12 years of directly related work experience)
