Job Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy of the contents and process them accordingly.
• The safe and efficient handling of merchandise is dependent on the use of appropriate equipment.
• Perform the necessary steps for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment by complying with the prescribed procedures.
• Play a role in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting.
• Make sure to follow the safety protocols and procedures to ensure that no accidents or injuries take place.
• An efficiently functioning warehouse demands cleanliness and organization.
• Promote collaboration and harmonious relationships among team members to enhance productivity and reduce conflicts in the warehouse team.

Qualifications:

• The completion of high school or its equivalent is a necessary prerequisite.
• While it's beneficial, having prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is not necessarily a requirement.
• Diligent approach towards handling inventory, ensuring strict accuracy.
• Aptitude in lifting weighty materials and accomplishing strenuous activities.
• Possessing a sound understanding of inventory management systems can be made easier with basic computer skills.
• Proven forklift expertise or readiness to gain certification (if necessary).
• Consistently demonstrating a dependable and punctual approach to tasks and assignments.
• Outstanding communication skills and excellent teamwork acumen.
• The capability to adapt to a high-pressure and physically demanding atmosphere is a coveted characteristic.
