Job Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Examine and validate the contents of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy.
• The safe and efficient handling of merchandise is dependent on the use of appropriate equipment.
• Fulfil the job of picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch by following the procedures that have been set.
• Engage in inventory control operations, including cycle counts.
• Avoid accidents and injuries by observing the recommended safety measures and procedures.
• The proper maintenance of the warehouse includes keeping it clean and well-arranged.
• Promote collaboration and harmonious relationships among team members to enhance productivity and reduce conflicts in the warehouse team.

Qualifications:

• The minimum qualification required is the attainment of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• While having experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred, it is not an essential requirement.
• Possessing an acute sense of attention to detail, especially in inventory handling.
• Proficiency in carrying hefty objects and performing grueling tasks.
• Basic familiarity with computer software can aid greatly in the implementation of inventory management systems.
• Certified in forklift operation or prepared to attain certification if it is obligatory.
• Consistently demonstrating a dependable and punctual approach to tasks and assignments.
• Superior teamwork capabilities and excellent communication skills.
