Veterinary Technician-Nurse, Assistant (1 yr Experience Req-2 yrs Pref.)

Our veterinary practice is looking for professional Veterinary Technicians and/or Veterinary Assistants.
Applicants must possess a self-motivated and positive attitude.
1 year Experience Required - 2 years Preferred with working in a veterinary hospital.
Part time and Full time positions available. The Veterinary Technician/Nurse responsibilities and duties include:

• Assist in animal patient care.


• Responsible for setting up appointment rooms.


• Assisting the Veterinarian during appointments and procedures.


• Educating clients regarding Heartworm and Flea preventatives.


• Preparing vaccinations.


• Collecting vitals, lab samples and patient history.


• Assisting in animal restraint in a safe, efficient but compassionate manner.


• Experience with Pulse is a plus! This animal practice's primary focus is on Wellness Services & Preventative Care, surgical options and dentistry. Hours of operation are 8-5 Monday through Friday.
