Job Summary:

At a regional Tesla warehouse, an efficient Warehouse Associate is required to handle inventory and support installation crews. The role involves issuing, receiving, and organizing materials, and the daily preparation of materials for installers. The Warehouse Associate excels in maintaining an accurate inventory and organized warehouse while producing timely installation kits.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing a well-organized warehouse system will ensure that all materials are easily identifiable, countable and can be accessed efficiently
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure that crews have required material on hand to meet their installation demands
• Retrieve the needed materials, refill the stock in the installation team's vans, and discard any extra supplies
• Guarantee warehouse inventory counts are accurate by examining inventory regularly and recording all discrepancies
• Detailed records that are available for scrutiny: documents relating to packaging, selection, and the completion of tasks
• Ensure that materials arrive at the worksite on schedule
• Leverage a computer-based system to send and receive information and manage additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Demonstrating mechanical aptitude is essential for pre-assembling parts in various industries
• The position calls for the potential to undertake routine duties, including prolonged periods of standing, lifting, and bending. It is imperative to handle materials that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Exceptional communication skills in written and oral forms are vital
• Exceptional customer service know-how and a preference for computer skills are mandatory in this job
• The ability to work cohesively with others in a collaborative group atmosphere
• The team cannot achieve its goals without consistently good attendance
• It is mandatory to possess a legitimate driverâ s license to operate a vehicle
