We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Compounding Chemist to join our team. As a Compounding Chemist, you will be responsible for preparing customized medications and formulations tailored to meet the unique needs of patients. 3. Quality Control: Perform quality control checks and testing on compounded medications to verify potency, purity, and stability. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance protocols to maintain product integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.

4. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of compounding ingredients, raw materials, and supplies. Monitor stock levels, order replenishments, and maintain proper storage and organization of inventory items.

5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of compounding activities, including ingredient measurements, formulations, batch records, and quality control test results. Ensure documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards governing compounding pharmacy practice, including USP <795> and USP <797> guidelines. Stay informed about regulatory updates and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

7. Patient Counseling: Provide patient counseling and education on compounded medications, including proper use, storage, and administration. Address patient questions, concerns, and medication-related issues in a professional and empathetic manner.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers to discuss patient medication needs, treatment plans, and therapeutic options. Provide recommendations and consultative support to optimize patient care.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.

2. Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a Pharmacist (RPh). Additional certifications in compounding pharmacy (e.g., Compounded Sterile Preparations (CSP) certification) may be preferred.

3. Experience: Previous experience in compounding pharmacy practice preferred. Familiarity with compounding equipment, techniques, and quality assurance principles.

4. Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in compounding equipment, formulations, and sterile compounding procedures. Ability to perform accurate calculations and measurements.

5. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards. Ability to follow compounding protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines with precision.
