Job Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review the contents of incoming shipments and confirm their accuracy before processing.
• Sufficient equipment is necessary for the safe and efficient handling of merchandise.
• Abide by the established procedures when it comes to picking, packaging, and getting orders ready to be shipped out.
• Conduct cycle counts and contribute to managing inventory.
• Keep accidents and injuries from happening by following the established safety protocols and procedures.
• Cleanliness and organization are necessary for the optimal running of the warehouse operations.
• Facilitate the development of collaborative approaches and effective problem-solving strategies among members of the warehouse team to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

• Obtaining a high school diploma or its equivalent is compulsory.
• While having previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment would be advantageous, it is not mandatory.
• Thoroughness in inventory management, with an emphasis on precision.
• Capacity to lift weighty loads and execute physically taxing jobs.
• Without fundamental computer competencies, using inventory management systems can prove to be challenging.
• A forklift certificate or the eagerness to obtain it (where applicable).
• Embodying a strong work ethic and a deep sense of responsibility towards one's work and responsibilities.
• Remarkable capacity for teamwork and exceptional communication proficiencies.
• Those who can readily adjust to a fast-paced and demanding setting are highly valued.
