In your role as a Field Technician, you will be responsible for keeping the material handling equipment at customer locations in top-notch working order. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include traveling to different sites, using a Pape service vehicle, interacting with customers, and ensuring seamless equipment performance.

Many companies prefer to hire field technicians who have completed apprenticeships or vocational training programs. These programs offer hands-on training and help to develop technical skills:

• We are looking for someone who has at least three years of experience in diagnosing and repairing equipment, with a strong preference for material handling industry experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision, while ensuring quality output.
• Remarkable skill in establishing great rapport with customers and exceptional communication proficiency.
• The applicant must have a driving license with an outstanding record. A CDL is preferred.
• The provision of tools will not be catered for; hence individuals must bring their own.
