Shift: Swing Shift- 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM Start- Monday-Friday

Location: Redmond, WA

Description

We are partnered with a global seafood company with a passion for customers, passion for seafood, and a passion to be the best in everything that they do! We are hiring for a Refrigeration Technician that will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our refrigeration systems to ensure the efficient and safe operation of their seafood processing facility. This role requires hands-on experience in industrial refrigeration systems, with a focus on ammonia-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in refrigeration systems to identify and implement timely repairs.

• Perform system upgrades and modifications to enhance efficiency and reliability.

• Monitor and maintain proper levels of refrigerants, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repairs, minimizing downtime and production interruptions.

• Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.

• Provide training and support to junior technicians as needed.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Refrigeration Technician in an industrial setting, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ammonia-based refrigeration systems.

• Certification in refrigeration technology or a related field is preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting on maintenance activities.
