Hair Stylist

Eclipse Salon is located in Warwick Denbigh Shopping Center in Newport News, VA. The salon specializes in a wide range of hair services as well as wax hair removal. We are committed to providing high quality services to our community. We are a 9 chair salon with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Role Description

Eclipse Salon is in need of a licensed full-time hair stylist. As a team member you will earn commission plus any tips. We are open Tuesday- Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.
• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and styling based on client preferences and trends.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment to ensure the health and safety of clients and staff.
• Utilize cosmetology skills and techniques to deliver high-quality hair services to clients.

Demonstrate effective communication skills to consult with clients and understand their needs and desires.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling to provide clients with modern and innovative services.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are a must
• Availability to work evenings and Saturdays
• Be reliable, friendly, and professional
• Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and be a team player
• Knowledge of current hair trends and techniques
• State cosmetology license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour

License/Certification:
