Responsibilities:

This role's primary focus is to execute DCA picking and packing assignments on a full-time basis

• Fulfill responsibilities associated with the storage, shipment, and receipt of products while meeting expectations relating to attendance, safety, behavior, productivity, and quality.
• Utilize established practices, techniques, equipment, and technology with proficiency and expedience to accomplish transactions that are associated with inbound and outbound processes at a distribution center.
• Conduct assigned tasks in the warehouse efficiently, following established protocols, procedures, and tools, and delivering on expectations regarding safety, productivity, attendance, and quality.
• Various job functions will be assigned, which may include, but not be limited to, receiving and sorting deliveries, labeling and organizing merchandise, fulfilling orders, and preparing items for shipment.
• As you manage, store, and transport products, ensure that you comply with Grainger's norms, regulations, and operating procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA, and hazardous material requirements.
• Conduct regular cleaning duties to promote a clean, secure, and orderly work environment.
• Utilize Grainger's quality system to actively participate in the improvement process and increase process efficiency.
• Manage PIE equipment as required, which comprises Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, and Turret Truck.
