ALDI is seeking Cashiers and Stockers to elevate the customer shopping experience.

Help us achieve this goal by working collaboratively to operate registers, keep the shelves stocked, maintain store cleanliness, and assist customers.

Position Type: Part-Time

The Usual Time Committed is Fewer Than 30 Hours per Week

Newly hired personnel are offered an hourly wage of $18.50 as a starting salary

Duties and Responsibilities:

The role necessitates that the individual executes tasks with or without reasonable assistance.

  • Collaborates effectively with team members and ensures their direct leader is kept in the loop
  • Ensures the security and privacy of documents and data within their sphere of influence
  • Added tasks as instructed

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Takes care of customer sales, perfoms upkeep responsibilities, restocks merchandise onto shelves, and ensures product displays are spick and span
  • The shopping experience for customers is improved through the provision of exceptional customer service
  • Keeps management informed of any issues regarding products, merchandising, inventory discrepancies, and other relevant matters
  • Cooperates in taking store inventory counts according to the guidelines and ascertaining inventory accuracy
  • The implementation of a comprehensive cash management strategy that adheres to established policies and procedures is essential to minimizing financial losses

Stocker Responsibilities:

  • Guaranteeing excellent customer satisfaction by consistently stocking shelves and rotating products so that they remain fresh at all times
  • A comprehensive merchandising planogram provides a concise and efficient way to ensure that all merchandising displays meet a certain standard of excellence
  • Sorting fresh stock systematically and getting rid of vacant cartons by disassembling them is a necessary process
  • The successful candidate will be capable of operating machinery safely and implementing standard safety guidelines

Physical Demands:

  • Being employed at the store necessitates performing a variety of physical motions, which comprise sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
  • Inventory Stocker: Ability to transfer store commodities from receiving to shelves; dexterity in arranging items, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelves at different levels

Education and Experience:

  • Those who possess a high school diploma or an equivalent are preferred
  • For this job, candidates with a retail work history are preferred
  • A combination of theoretical knowledge and practical familiarity resulting in uniform comprehension
