  • In the role, the Application Architect V will act as the Feature Lead for Jira Align a new solution being introduced to the Client Change Management technology stack, responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
  • Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that the application developed meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
  • This role ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
  • The incumbent will possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.
  • The successful candidate is a consultant and a designer who shapes solutions, a salesperson who grows their contacts and networks, an engineer who solves problems and a teacher for those around them.
  • Contribute to the Configuration and Development of the Jira Align application.
  • Working understanding of good agile development principles and practices
  • Participate and contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
  • Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
  • Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.
  • Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
  • Design/develop/modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
  • Design/develop/maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Requirements
  • Jira Align Subject Matter and Environment Expertise
  • Jira Software working knowledge.
  • NET development experience.
  • JAVA programming experience.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • 5+ years experience in technology and working in an Agile environment.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Effective team player, capable of partnering with a global team of strong, experienced coaches.
  • Passion for delivering new approaches and challenging the "status-quo."
  • Technically curious and striving for continuous improvement.
  • Passion for process engineering, agility, lean thinking, and rapid delivery of high-quality products.
  • Deep understanding of product flow, lean metrics, and optimizations.
  • Capable of striving in a fast pace, ever changing environment.
