Job Summary of Optical Services Manager:

Successful sales in the Vision Center hinge on effective presentation of merchandise with competitive pricing, appropriate labeling, and accurate inventory levels. The Optical Services Manager is responsible for staying informed of economic trends and community needs, budgeting, sales forecasting, and assessing the effectiveness of the store's merchandising plan. Associates are trained to deliver consistent customer/member service utilizing company guidelines and techniques and resolve any associated issues. The manager also participates in community outreach programs, leading by example and emphasizing the importance of associating with the community.

Maintaining Optical equipment, upholding the Company's Open Door Policy, and resolving concerns are among the responsibilities of the Vision Center.

By building relationships with key stakeholders and creating plans to meet customer and business needs, progress towards goals is measured and opportunities for improvement are identified. Associates are provided with development opportunities through mentoring and training, and recognition is given while promoting diversity awareness and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications of Optical Services Manager:

• The position requires individuals to meet specific minimum qualifications.
• In order to be considered for this job, candidates must satisfy one of three minimum requirements: either they have completed two years or more at college, or they have spent a year working in a retail job and have also had one year of experience in supervision, or they have two years of general work experience which includes one year in the optical sector. Additionally, a high school diploma or equivalent is essential.
• Meeting the criteria established by state legislation, regulations, and/or rules is essential for anyone looking to work as an optician or apprentice optician at present.
