Certified Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, examinations, and screenings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Certified Dental Hygienist Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Hygienist license.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- CPR certification.
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
Preferred Experience
- New Grads and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by the office.
