The Technology Consultant will have the opportunity to see the breadth of the Quality Management Office’s plan and impact as well as how the QMO supports the overall strategic objectives of Technology. The Technology Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to our Quality Office Manager and Director, building strong relationships across our Teams. Members of this Team will partner with many different work groups inside and outside of the QMO creating a wide network of connections. The Technology Consultant has the opportunity to advise and work closely with all QMO Teams. Work products produced on this Team are visible all the way up to the VP.

The Technology Consultant position is instrumental in helping guide QMO’s plan and supports the overall strategic objectives of Technology. This position will have a broad view of the capabilities and technologies used within then the QMO and Portfolio spaces. This consultative role supports strategic planning initiatives across the department.

Additional details:

  • This role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus. Please note, while this is a remote position, there is a limited group of states or localities ineligible for Employees to regularly perform their work. Those ineligible locations are: Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Washington and Wyoming

  • Job Summary
    • Part of a Team charged with identifying, prioritizing, defining and implementing various Business and Technology driven initiatives. Assess potential opportunities, evaluate value of those opportunities, suggest prioritization to Leadership based on value, and identify potential solutions. Work with various Customers in the Business and Technology to advise and influence in the creation of strategic or initiative plans.
  • Responsibilities
    • Identify new ways to create value through business process improvements and technology enhancements proactively
    • Analyze impact of problems, facilitate resolutions, and escalate to Leadership as needed
    • Complete assigned and project tasks with minimal direction
    • Develop deep understanding of Customer priorities, value drivers, and challenges, and use this knowledge to translate Customer needs
    • Drive solutions within a Team/group without being a subject matter expert
    • Partner with Senior Leadership across the Company to lead various activities required in the ongoing development and delivery of strategic initiatives
    • Anticipate large-scale, complex challenges within domain; including risk, dependencies, timelines, scope, etc.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing Customer and personal services, including Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of Customer satisfaction
    • Ability to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
    • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
    • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, ask questions as appropriate, and not interrupt at inappropriate times

  • Education
    • Required: High School Diploma or GED
    • Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Technology, Finance, or related field
  • Experience
    • Required: Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in solving complex problems and driving multiple stakeholders towards implementable solutions
    • Preferred: Experience in program management or project management

    • Preferred: Skilled in professional communication and in delivering ad-hoc requests with urgency, at times without detailed requirements

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $124,550 per year to $138,400 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
