The position involves handling customer transactions, managing cash and card payments, and ensuring the front end area is always clean and well-organized. To achieve the highest customer service standards, you will be expected to assist customers with any concerns, answer queries about promotions and products, and work closely with your colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the store, following established procedures carefully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extend a friendly and hospitable welcome to customers, setting a tone of warmth and helpfulness
- Conduct speedy and exact transactions to ensure customers have a seamless experience
- One of my duties involves handling financial transactions through cash and card modes
- Organizing the front end area and keeping it free of clutter is essential
- Aid patrons in resolving their inquiries and concerns
- The success of store operations is dependent on the collaborative efforts of all team members
- Follow standard operating procedures to minimize errors and ensure quality work
- Complete any other duties given
Qualifications:
- An official document demonstrating the successful completion of high school or an equivalent program
- Applicants with previous experience as a cashier or in customer support will be given preference
- Impressive aptitude in resolving customer complaints satisfactorily
- Strong communication skills
- Being capable of handling busy work settings and maintaining productivity
- Attention to detail
- Aptitude to move heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Able to adapt to a flexible schedule, including working evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
