Senior Engineer

Target Enterprise, Inc. seeks a FT Senior Engineer in Brooklyn Park, MN. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) applying enterprise architecture knowledge for architecting, prepare detailed architecture diagrams, designing, developing, and implementing efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core enterprise functions that deliver high performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables with high throughput and low latency; (2) using analytics tools for monitoring system performance to predict and address the potential problems during deployment and support change management; (3) using microservices domain based architecture, reactive web solutions, CI/CD, Jenkins build pipelines, Unit test, integration tests, performance tests and develop automated solutions for moving code to subsequent environments; (4) using Agile software development methodology to develop cloud based microservice applications with Spring framework; and (5) utilizing the following software tools and technologies: Java, Apache SOLR, Typescript languages, Spring technologies, Kafka, Akka Streams, Reactive web solutions, Cloud computing technology, Cassandra, Hibernate, Oracle, Websphere Application Servers and Agile Methodologies (Product Backlog, Planning, Regular Scrum, Retrospective/ Reviews), Waterfall, and Iterative.
