• Collecting and verifying merchandise to be retrieved by customers, delivery personnel, and installers.

This person is also responsible for resolving issues and prioritizing work to meet the needs of customers.

Travel Requirements:

• This job does not demand frequent travel, however plans may call for occasional meeting attendance, training, or support for neighbouring stores.

Qualifications and Experience:

• More hours may be required of hourly employees, regardless of whether they are full-time or part-time, in order to meet the needs of the store.
• We require someone who can work during any part of the day, be it morning, afternoon, or evening, all week.
• The ability to perform tasks that may demand prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and other necessary job-related actions.
• The employee must possess the ability to lift at least 25 pounds by themselves without any help. They may also lift more than that specified number, with or without any assistance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (including addition and subtraction) form the foundation of essential literacy, without which individuals cannot fully engage in educational or vocational pursuits.
• Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of familiarity in utilizing computers, including tasks such as inputting, retrieving modifying, and outputting data.
• Proficient in handling everyday retail technology for up to six months, notably smartphones and tablets.
• One year of working in retail, utilizing customer service skills to address consumer issues, greet shoppers warmly, handle telephone calls, build rapport with customers, and show appreciation for their business.
• The ability to procure sales licensure or registration where laws require it is essential for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A period of six months spent working within any department of a Lowe's retail store.
• Possessing half a year of hands-on experience in an administrative capacity, predominantly focused on the processing and filing of paperwork, including invoices.
• The position calls for candidates with a minimum of 12 months expertise in supervisory activities accountable for organizing, delegating, assessing, educating, and coaching workers in any field.
• The successful candidate must have worked for at least 12 months in a customer service or product fulfillment capacity at a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department.
