PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Project Manager reporting to the Sr Manager, Supply Chain Project Management Office (PMO)
- Lead cross-functional project teams in the execution of Supply Chain Strategic Projects
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to establish project execution timelines, key milestones, resource requirements and approval gates.
- Responsible for proposal reviews, evaluations and presentation materials.
- Establish and drive project execution cadence
- Identify project risks and formulate risk containment plans.
- Identify and assess barriers to project execution and develop plans to remove barriers
- Ensure project effectiveness reporting via measuring results and corresponding KPI reporting.
- Support strategic project development through periodic workshops and events focused on collaboration around strategic objectives and concept generation.
- Lead and support supply chain internal operational/tactical projects as necessary with focus areas in sourcing, material planning, logistics and manufacturing continuous improvement.
- Report project progress to planned schedule, provide status updates and report project planned vs actual results via KPIs and other performance measures.
- Perform root cause and corrective action analysis for at-risk and off-track projects, and drive corrective actions identified.
- Provide project management guidance for Supply Chain stakeholders applying the appropriate level of control and influence based on specific project criteria;
- Tactical/Operational Projects: Support, Consultation and Collaboration
- Strategic Projects: Governance, Support, Transparency & Reporting
- Assigned Projects: Direct ownership and control of management, execution and reporting
- Develop project management and execution traceability for reporting status and actual vs planned results

Your Experience
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage through influence and deliver results with cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationships
- Demonstrated experience managing supply chain internal projects and associated change management within the manufacturing sector.
- Professional experience leading projects/initiatives with multiple stakeholders within a matrix organization
- Professional experience as an operational leader or project manager in a manufacturing environment
- Highly collaborative skill set with ability to gather and comprehend information and input from multiple stakeholders and form alignment around organizational objectives
- Strong communication & presentations skills with ability to effectively communicate on all levels within the organization from CEO to production floor associates
- Strategic aptitude and mindset with demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into operational/tactical initiatives that advance organizational progress toward achieving strategic objectives
- Advanced problem solving capabilities with demonstrated ability to navigate barriers by actively and collaboratively defining solutions
- Highly organized and analytical with meticulous approach to initiative/project planning, organization, and execution.
- Demonstrated experience measuring initiative effectiveness via KPI & score card development and deployment.
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional Certification (CSCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) highly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management or Finance preferred
- Strong knowledge of, and demonstrated experience with project management tools and methodologies: Six Sigma, Agile, APF/APM, PFMEA, RACI, SIPOC
- Professional experience in supplier management, supplier qualification or contract management within the manufacturing sector a plus.
