We are currently seeking a diligent and organized Stock Control Assistant to join our team. As a Stock Control Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our inventory system, ensuring stock levels are accurate and sufficient for our business needs. You will work closely with the stock control team to ensure efficient stock movements, timely order fulfillment, and accurate stock records.

The ideal candidate for this role is detail-oriented, has strong problem-solving skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment. You should possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to multitask effectively. Prior experience in stock control or inventory management is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management and supervision of stock control activities, including stock intake, replenishment, and stock rotation
  • Conduct regular stock checks and perform inventory audits to ensure accurate stock records
  • Monitor stock levels and generate reports to highlight any stock shortages or excesses
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely stock replenishment and order fulfillment
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure accurate and efficient stock ordering
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues with stock levels or stock records
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of stock control procedures and best practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in stock control, inventory management, or a related field
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
