Guaranteeing a favorable experience for all Planet Fitness members, potential members, and guests through top-notch customer service is the main duty of an employee in the Member Services team.

Critical Functions and Obligations:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all members, potential members, and attendees as they enter the building.
• Managing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department:
• Receive phone calls with a friendly disposition and assist clients with a variety of concerns efficiently.
• Register new members and log them into the system.
• Facilitate New User Onboarding.
• Conduct a tour for interested parties.
• Provide support in updating member accounts.
• Promptly responding to member queries and concerns is a part of good customer service. By doing so, you build a rapport with the members, which can lead to repeat business and referrals.
• Help in ensuring the club remains clean and presentable.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Zeal for preserving a healthy and active routine.
• Staying upbeat and finding the silver lining in any situation can help reduce stress and promote mental wellness.
• Timeliness and consistency are requisite.
• Demonstrates exemplary customer service competencies, effortlessly engaging with customers in a professional and courteous manner, consistently exceeding their expectations.
• Possessing the qualities of a strong listener, including empathy and the ability to solve problems, this individual is an asset in any situation.
• Display diplomacy and discernment in conversations, employing appropriate language and tone.
• A minimum requirement for applying to this position is a High School diploma or a completions certificate of GED.
• The minimum age requirement is 18 years.

Physical Demands:

• The continual necessity for employees to be on their feet and mobile throughout their work shift.
• Uninterrupted chatting either personally or via voice calls throughout the shift.
• You should be capable of lifting weights up to 50 lbs periodically for this role.
• Toxic chemicals may be encountered sporadically while on the job.
