Maintenance Assistant

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Assistant will assist the Maintenance Director with the overall safety, appearance, and maintenance of the facility in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements at all times.

Responsibilites & Duties:

• Take part in painting,


• Light carpentry,


• Electrical,


• Plumbing,


• Grounds maintenance, and


• Preventative maintenance. The Maintenance Assistant


• May also perform other maintenance related duties as assigned to them by the Maintenance Director.

Qualifications:

• Must have at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D


• Must be knowledgeable various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC certification a plus but not required


• Maintenance experience preferred; especially in a healthcare facility


• Must have knowledge of safety regulations


• Must have a reliable source of transportation and valid driver’s license
